About Circle of Friends
A passion for music
Circle of Friends was born in 2010 as a passion project - to support original, indie musicians and singer-songwriters, bringing them together with small audiences in a community setting – right into people’s homes. Events have been a mix of music followed by shared food and drink, giving the audience and artists an opportunity to mingle in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. Founding members included singer-songwriter, Jonathan Clifton, and community members, Kathy Simon and Geneva DiTaranto. Since then, Circle of Friends members have changed but the goal remains the same: to bring together musical artists with a community of music lovers.

Circle of Friends Concerts introduces original musicians and bands to the community in small, intimate, private settings - from nationally and internationally known talent, to regional favorites.

In Memoriam
Frank Siefert
6/7/1947 – 12/11/2024
Our dear friend Frank Seifert passed away on December 11 after a long, eight-year battle with cancer. You could say that Frank was the re-founder of Circle of Friends. Frank loved live music and wanted it to be part of the community so much so that several years after we (Kathy and Geneva) shut it down, Frank called Iris (Gaughan) and together they orchestrated a comeback. We are in awe of Frank for his bravery and tenacious soldier-on spirit. We are grateful to him for his perseverance, guidance and commitment to bringing our live shows back to the community at a time when he was in the midst of the fray. Music brought him joy and he wanted to share that joy with the world or at least with our little corner of it.
Thank you Frank, rest in peace. We love you!
